Job summary

Aerotek in Morehead, KY is seeking a General Production Worker to operate molding and assembly line equipment to produce plastic automotive parts. You will assemble components, inspect and sort finished products, package items, and stock materials to keep production moving in a clean, organized manufacturing environment.

This contract-to-hire position offers hourly pay of $15.00 to $15.50 and onsite work with weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental and vision, a 401(k) plan, and more.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding machines and assembly line equipment to produce plastic automotive parts according to established procedures.
• Assemble plastic components accurately and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Inspect parts for defects, ensuring products meet quality specifications before packaging or stocking.
• Sort products based on quality criteria and production requirements.
• Package finished parts securely and label them correctly for storage or shipment.
• Stock materials and finished goods in designated areas to maintain an organized workflow.
• Use hand tools and basic production equipment safely and effectively during daily tasks.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing required protective footwear and adhering to facility rules.
• Work collaboratively in small work cells with a few team members to maintain steady production flow.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, supporting a safe and efficient production environment.
