Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Bardstown, KY plastics site. You will prepare and set up injection molding machines, adjust molds and parameters to ensure consistent, high-quality output.

This contract-to-hire, onsite role requires strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in manufacturing. You will monitor performance and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare injection molding machines for scheduled production runs, including setup, calibration, and basic pre-run checks.
• Ensure machines are running efficiently throughout the shift by monitoring performance, identifying issues, and making necessary adjustments.
• Change and modify molds as needed, including adjusting temperature and other process parameters to meet production and quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
