Job summary

TI Automotive in Leitchfield, KY is seeking a Production Team Member to support manufacturing operations in a plastic injection molding environment. You will safely operate equipment, handle molded parts, perform quality checks, and assist with assembly or packaging according to standard work instructions.

You will contribute to achieving production, quality, and safety goals as part of a cross-functional team, uphold 5S cleanliness, and participate in daily start-up meetings and training

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive inspection tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including overtime as required.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Meet the expectations and standards set forth by IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Follow all safety standards, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform production tasks in accordance with all standardized work instructions for assigned products and jobs.
• Use required hand tools and secondary equipment to assemble, inspect, and rework plastic parts as needed.
• Sort, inspect, and rework material to identify and remove reject or non‑conforming parts.
• Verify part quality through visual inspection and the use of inspection or verification equipment as required.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including process verification sheets, quality checks, and daily production reports.
• Utilize RT stations and related systems to scan and record inventory and production data into the ERP system.
• Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, safety risks, and production problems promptly to Switches, Team Leaders, or Supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping of the assigned work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Attend daily start‑up meetings, safety talks, and other required communication or training meetings.
• Assist with training and supporting new hires or newly assigned team members to ensure adherence to standardized work.
• Make suggestions for improvements to standardized work, quality processes, safety practices, or other plant operations.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and team-based problem solving initiatives.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned to support operational needs.
