Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking a Process Engineer to support day-to-day production operations for the cast stretch film facility. The role requires a solid foundation in polymer science and plastics manufacturing, with a focus on safety, quality, and process optimization.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Plastics Engineering and at least 2 years’ experience in process engineering within plastics/manufacturing, plus familiarity with ISO/OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Plastics Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in process engineering in plastics/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, OSHA).
• Strong understanding of plastics manufacturing processes, materials and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production operations of stretch film plant.
• Ensure safe operation of production equipment on assigned lines.
• Train employees on safety guidelines and proper procedures.
• Verify correct formula, SOP and packing materials for each order.
• Perform quality checks and monitor production parameters.
• Troubleshoot production lines to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product specs.
• Document process requirements and maintain process manuals.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery.
