Responsibilities

• Collate printed PVC sheets using a semi-automatic collator or by hand with a tacking table.
• Laminate sheet sets with a platen laminator.
• Shear laminated sheets.
• Operate a Polar 115 EMC (or similar) to rough cut product.
• Operate a PMC high die cutter (or similar) to finish cut product.
• Operate magnetic stripe application or hole punch equipment.
• Pack product for shipment.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jacks.

Job description

IQ Resource Group is currently recruiting for a Plastic Printing Specialist for a local family-owned business. This 1 shift temp to hire position offers a clean, temperature-controlled environment with great opportunity for growth.

Location: Manitowoc, WI

Wage: $15.50/hr

Hours: 7am to 3:30pm: Monday to Friday

Specific duties include but are not limited to

• Collating printed PVC sheets with a semi-automatic collator or by hand with a tacking table
• Laminating sheet sets with a platen laminator
• Shearing laminated sheets
• Operating a Polar 115 EMC (or similar equipment) to rough cut product
• Operating a PMC high die cutter, or similar equipment to finish cut product
• Operating magnetic stripe application or hole punch equipment
• Packing product for shipment
• Operating a forklift and pallet jacks

Requirements

• Strong mechanical ability.
• Ability to work on their feet all day.
• Work overtime as needed and at times on short notice.

Attributes / Qualifications of an ideal Candidate

Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus. Experience with any of the listed equipment types is beneficial but not required. Ability to lift heavy objects may be required with some tasks. Individual needs to be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to handle numerous varying tasks throughout a workday.
