Job summary
Plastipak is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
You will monitor machine settings, troubleshoot issues, perform routine preventative maintenance, and conduct quality checks on bottle weights and dimensions to meet customer specs.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year in manufacturing with high-volume production equipment.
- Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
- Monitor settings (heat control, water cooling temps, hydraulic pressure) to produce quality containers.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Ensure bottle weights and dimensions meet specifications through quality checks.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction.
