Job summary

ALPLA, a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Operator to join our Arkansas facility. This role contributes to production lines, quality checks, and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

You will gain hands-on training, work in a team-driven environment, and develop technical skills for line start/stop, mold changes, and efficiency improvements. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall line responsibility from production to packaging; start/stop the machine.
• Monitor material control (weight distribution, regrind levels, tail lengths).
• Perform regular quality checks throughout the shift.
• Prepare machine for mold changes and changes as needed.
• Ensure goods produced meet quantities and specifications; record outcomes.
• Autonomous maintenance activities and teamwork for efficiency.
• Assist others with mold/color changes and maintain housekeeping.
