Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking a production operator to set up and run plastic molding machines according to the production schedule. You verify materials, calibrate settings, monitor cycle times, and log results.

You troubleshoot when a machine hesitates, perform basic maintenance, inspect finished parts for quality, and keep inventory of raw materials up to date. This is a full-time role with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Experience operating plastic molding machines.
• Working knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude; technical training with packaging, plastics, and printing equipment a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong manual dexterity and keen attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding equipment per procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and make in-process adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs to sustain uptime.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and correct deviations.
• Troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime.
• Track raw material usage and update inventory.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized per safety protocols.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
