Job summary

Alexandria Industries in Wisconsin is seeking a Plastics Injection Molding Press Operator to produce parts in the plastics molding department, ensuring they meet customer specifications and our quality standards. You will help maintain safe, efficient production processes and follow all safety guidelines while working with high-volume parts, inspecting outputs and packing them for shipment.

Forklift training may be provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the number one priority and promote a safe work environment.
• Clean vacuum systems, clear alarms, purge the press, maintain a clean area.
• Run high-volume parts and inspect and package them correctly.
• Maintain the quoted part per our output.
• Be paying attention and keep learning.
• Forklift certification may be required; on site training will be provided.
• Be a team player.

Pay or shift range: $18 USD to $24.40 USD. The anticipated pay range for this position is budgeted. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Plastics Injection Molding Press Operator is responsible for making parts in our plastics molding department, while ensuring finished parts meet customer specifications and company quality standards. This position is also responsible for ensuring that production processes are accurate and efficient, and that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout all areas in the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that safety is always the number one priority at Alexandria Industries; promote and support a safe work environment and safety oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines.
• Cleaning vacuum systems, clearing alarms, purging out the press, maintaining a clean, neat, work area.
• Be able to run high volume parts and being able to inspect and package them correctly.
• Being able to maintain the quoted part per our output.
• This job requires the operator to be paying attention and keep learning.
• Forklift certification may be required, (will train on site).
• Be a team player.
