Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate manufacturing equipment for plastic film and bag products in a safety-focused environment. The role emphasizes quality checks, changeovers, and teamwork in a fast-paced plant.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related manufacturing experience. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and working with moving machinery, with strict adherence to PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 6 months experience as a Production Packer and/or 3 to 6 months experience working in manufacturing in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and adjust manufacturing equipment to produce quality plastic film and bag products.
• Follow and support all company safety, GMP, and HACCP policies; conduct daily inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform required quality checks, interpret standards, and make adjustments to maintain product specifications and reduce scrap.
• Maximize production yields and minimize downtime; execute timely changeovers.
• Make minor repairs, assist maintenance technicians, and support packing operations as needed.
