Join Our Team as a Plastic Fabricator/Welder at Miller Plastic Products!
Are you a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail? Do you thrive on building complex, unique projects from detailed blueprints? If so, we want you to join our team as a Plastic Fabricator/Welder.
At Miller Plastic Products, our fabricators work on a diverse range of projects, from small enclosures like cabinets or boat-holding tanks to massive 30-foot-tall tanks. Each project is different, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment where no two days are the same. This role will allow you to develop and hone your skills in plastic fabrication, working with various types of plastics, each suited to specific applications.
Transitioning from Steel Welding?
If you're experienced in steel welding (GMAW/Mig, GTAW/Tig, or SMAW), you'll find plastic welding to be a natural transition. The skills are similar, but with plastic welding, there's no risk of eye strain, burns, or unpleasant fumes. It's also easier on your body, making it an ideal next step for ex-steel fabricators who have quickly excelled in our team.
Background in Carpentry, Construction, or Wood Fabrication?
If you have experience in these fields, you're already equipped with fundamental skills for plastic fabrication. If you can read a tape measure and interpret basic drawings with fractional or decimal measurements, we can train you to weld plastics and build upon your existing skill set.
