Job summary

Belden Inc. is seeking an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain plastic extruding equipment on our 2nd shift.

The standard shift runs Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm, with starting pay at $23 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. You will be responsible for setting up machines, following specifications, analyzing product attributes, and performing necessary process adjustments to keep production in spec.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows manufacturing specifications to determine machine set-up, materials required, and quantity to run.
• Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments to bring product to spec in a multi-variable process.
• Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment as required.
• Responsible for safety of self and others in their work area.
• Completes all necessary paperwork and production postings correctly.

Responsibilities
