Job summary

Amcor Limited in Idaho seeks an experienced machine operator to maintain efficiency of assigned machines in plastics blow molding. You will monitor and adjust IBM machine systems and coordinate with maintenance and quality control to ensure smooth operation.

The role requires twelve-hour shifts (Friday–Tuesday) with extended hours on short notice, strict adherence to safety policies, GMPs, and effective communication within a team environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency of assigned machines to meet goals.
• Perform first articles on color and resin changes.
• Coordinate with Quality Control on production activities.
• Utilize MATTEC production reporting system to improve processes.
• Adjust and maintain bottle operation of conveying, flaming, robotic, inspection systems.
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and following instructions.
• Improve efficiency of the production department by improving processes.
• Work with supervisor in directing utilities and packers.
• Own assigned machines and lines; contribute to team effort.
• Follow safety policies and GMPs; perform other duties as assigned.
