Job summary

Abacus Staffing in Florida is seeking a field worker to perform daily maintenance on plaster mixers and plastering machines, perform oiling, gassing, greasing and cleaning tasks, and assist with hoses and scaffolding as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, ability to follow instructions, and the capacity to work at heights and in variable conditions.

Working hours are 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a paid 15-minute break.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily routine maintenance (excluding mechanical repair), oiling, gassing, greasing and cleaning of plaster mixers and plastering machines, pipes and hoses.
• Assist in modifying scaffolds with direction from competent scaffold.
• Responsible for adherence to cement mix design specification of project requirements.
• Responsible for general review of finished activity.
