Job summary

SURESTAFF is hiring a Plasma Table Assembler in Belvidere, IL. You will assemble Iron Worker machines using blueprints, BOMs, photos and notes, ensuring accuracy with calipers and dial indicators.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, able to stand most of the day, lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to train. Health benefits and overtime are available, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; employer is willing to train qualified candidates.
• Currently enrolled in an industrial trade program or a recent Trade/Technical School graduate.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Iron Worker machines from blueprints, BOMs, photos and notes.
• Read and interpret BOMs to assemble laser machines.
• Use measuring devices (dial indicators, calipers, precision levels) to ensure accuracy.
• Operate hand tools (hammers, wrenches, Allen wrenches, sockets, torque wrenches) and power tools (magnetic drills, grinders).
• Utilize forklift, cranes, chains and slings as needed during assembly.

Job description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Plasma Table Assembly in Belvidere, IL. As an assembler, you are responsible for assembling Iron Worker machines and related products, via blueprints, bill of materials, photos and job notes, SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime is available

Responsibilities of the Plasma Table Assembler:

• Able to use measuring devices, (dial indicators, calipers, precision levels).
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of thermal cutting preferred.
• Able to read a bill of materials to assemble laser machines.
• Able to use a variety of hand tools (hammers, wrenches, allen wrenches, sockets, torque wrenches).
• Able to use power tools (magnetic drills, electric or pneumatic grinders).
• Able to use cranes, chains and slings.
• Able to utilize forklift.
