Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Latham, NY seeks an individual to handle sample processing duties in a regulated plasma operation. You will prepare plasma units for freezing, collect samples for testing, and assist with shipment preparation in a part-time, on-site role.

The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable following SOPs, multi-tasking, and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desired: Experience in a laboratory, hospital, or other regulated environment.
• Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to multi-task and work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for frozen storage.
• Collect and store samples from plasma units for testing.
• Perform routine maintenance on the freezer and monitor temperatures.
• Prepare frozen plasma units and samples for shipping.
• Organize plasma boxes/documents for scheduled shipments and assist with loading shipments.
• Manage supplies and assist with inventory control.
