Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a part-time Sample Processing Technician in Milwaukee, WI to prepare plasma units for freezing, collect samples for testing, and ensure shipments meet protocol while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will maintain records, assist with freezer maintenance, organize shipments, manage supplies, and work as part of a team dedicated to donor and patient safety. Essential education is a high school diploma; a regulated-environment background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Essential: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Desired: Experience in a laboratory, hospital, or other regulated environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for frozen storage.
• Collect and store samples from plasma units for testing.
• Perform routine maintenance on the freezer including monitoring temperatures and ice buildup removal.
• Prepare frozen plasma units and samples for shipping following protocol.
• Organize plasma boxes/documents for scheduled shipments and assist in loading shipments.
• Manage supplies, assist management with inventory control procedures.
