Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Latham, NY is seeking a team-focused Sample Processing professional responsible for preparing plasma units, samples for testing, and shipments, while strictly following cGMP and safety regulations.

You will maintain freezers, collect samples, process units for storage, and support inventory and shipping procedures in a fast-paced, regulated lab environment. A High School Diploma is required; lab experience is a plus, with growth opportunities within Takeda.

Qualifications

• Essential: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desirable: Experience in a laboratory, hospital, or other regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers (5%).
• Perform all required duties in the area of Sample Processing (including, but not limited to): (95%).
• Prepare units for frozen storage.
• Collect and store samples from plasma units for testing.
• Maintain freezer temperatures and monitor fridge conditions.
• Prepare frozen plasma units and samples for shipping following protocol.
• Organize plasma boxes/documents for shipments and assist with loading shipments.
• Manage supplies and assist with inventory control procedures.
