Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is hiring a Processing Technician in Houston, TX. You will handle plasma processing, sampling, and storage while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Your detail orientation will impact the quality of therapies for patients worldwide.

You will perform aseptic sampling, monitor temperatures, and process plasma per cGMP/SOPs, with flexible hours and opportunities to contribute to production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units within required timeframes.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report deviations.
• Process plasma according to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.
• Perform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification of products.
• Prepare, calibrate, and verify equipment maintenance as scheduled.
• Manage product packing, inventory, and freezer organization.
• Document disposition of unsuitable products.
• Prepare and verify shipments according to SOPs.
• Receive and inventory incoming supplies and keep storage area organized.
• Identify released units daily and stage them for shipment.
• Maintain accurate records and data integrity in processing activities.
• Follow unidirectional flow procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep the processing area clean and stocked with supplies.
• Answer calls professionally and transfer as needed.
• Support production goals while assisting donor questions clearly.
