Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician to perform critical plasma processing steps, sampling, and storage while complying with safety and regulatory standards. Your attention to detail will impact the quality of plasma-derived therapies used worldwide.

You will conduct aseptic sampling, monitor temperatures, and process materials in a regulated environment, aligning with cGMP and SOPs. The role requires flexibility for shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units and store in freezers per timing requirements.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report deviations.
• Process plasma and samples according to cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.
• Carry out centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification of products.
• Prepare, calibrate, and verify equipment for maintenance as scheduled.
• Manage product packing, inventory, and freezer organization for efficiency.
• Document disposition of unsuitable products with complete records.
• Prepare and verify shipments according to SOPs.
• Receive and inventory incoming supplies; keep storage area clean and organized.
• Identify released units daily and stage for shipment.
• Maintain data integrity in all processing activities.
• Follow unidirectional flow to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep processing area clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Answer calls professionally or transfer to the appropriate person.
• Support production goals while addressing donor questions clearly and professionally.
