Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Processing Technician to handle plasma processing, sampling, and storage while complying with safety and regulatory standards. You will ensure quality and maintain documentation in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Training and compliance with FDA/cGMP/OSHA are noted preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete aseptic sampling and heat sealing of plasma units.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report deviations.
• Process plasma and samples per cGMP, SOPs, and regulations.
• Maintain product safety and integrity during processing, storage, and shipment.
• Perform centrifugation, labeling, inspection, and classification of products.
• Prepare, calibrate, and verify equipment maintenance.
• Manage packing, inventory, and freezer organization.
• Disposal of unsuitable products with full documentation.
• Prepare and verify shipments according to SOPs.
• Receive and inventory incoming supplies and maintain an organized storage area.
• Identify released units daily and stage for shipment.
• Maintain data integrity in all processing activities.
• Follow unidirectional flow to prevent cross-contamination.
• Keep processing area clean, stocked with supplies.
• Answer calls professionally and assist donor inquiries.
