Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a laboratory support role within the Takeda BioLife network. The position involves receiving, processing, and managing samples per SOP, with emphasis on timely testing and compliance with GMP, CLIA, and SOPs to support donor testing operations.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, inventory monitoring, and participating in continuous improvement activities. A high school diploma is required, and prior lab exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.
• Proven work history of above-average performance and attendance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical ability, and detail orientation.
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Receive, accession, and process samples per SOP.
• Centrifuge samples as applicable to area.
• Discard samples when required.
• Request and receive backup samples as needed.
• Maintain equipment and manage samples to ensure timely testing.
• Communicate issues with lab equipment, supplies, and scheduling; participate in improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
• Keep work area clean and professional.
• Other duties as assigned.
