B Positive Plasma in the United States seeks a laboratory tech to join our plasma processing team. The role involves setting up and operating instruments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, and basic computer skills. Willingness to travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing support continues to be valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read and write English
• Proficiency in computer operations (Word and Excel)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate instruments used for manipulating, monitoring, and storing plasma products
• Maintain instruments used for processing and storage of donor samples and products
• Document operational and maintenance activities when necessary
• Determine supply inventory requirements; order and restock, as needed
• Quarantine and discard unacceptable samples and products
• Pack, label and ship samples and products to meet suppliers requirements
• Store products in and maintain organization of large, walk-in, sub-zero freezer
• Available to travel up to 25 miles to other facility(ies) for training or assisting other center's staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
