KEDPLASMA LLC, a Kedrion Biopharma Inc. subsidiary in Texas, is seeking a Phlebotomist to guide donors through a safe plasmapheresis process and ensure patient care with precision.

You will perform venipuncture, monitor donors, and maintain a clean, compliant center environment to support high-quality plasma-derived therapies. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 1+ year phlebotomy experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and donor care.
• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process, center policies, compensation, and the importance of plasma-based therapies.
• Greet donors and introduce the donation process to establish trust and comfort.
• Conduct venipuncture procedures following SOPs and protocols.
• Monitor donor well-being during donation and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and report malfunctions.
• Set up and operate plasma donation machines and respond to alarms.
• Collect and label test samples, including NAT testing protocols.
• Keep donor floor stocked with supplies and soft goods.
• Record donor data and incidents in the donor information system.
• Respond to donor complaints, deferrals, or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support donor flow and alert management to bottlenecks.
• Prepare center for audits by maintaining cleanliness and SOP/regulatory compliance.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality of donor information.
