Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to guide donors through the plasma donation process with care and professionalism. You will perform venipuncture, monitor donor well-being, and maintain a clean, compliant donation center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high-pressure situations.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and donor care.
• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process, policies, compensation, and the importance of therapies.
• Greet donors and explain the donation process to establish trust and comfort.
• Perform venipuncture procedures following SOPs and ensure proper collection.
• Monitor donor well-being during donation and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, report malfunctions, and prep for daily operations.
• Set up plasma donation machines and respond to alarms or shutdowns.
• Collect and label test samples accurately, including NAT testing protocols.
• Keep donor floor stocked with supplies and soft goods.
• Record donor data and incidents in the donor information system.
• Respond promptly to donor complaints or deferrals with professionalism.
• Support donor flow by working efficiently and flagging bottlenecks.
