Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to support Kedplasma and the plasma donation process. You will guide donors through venipuncture and plasmapheresis, ensuring safety, accuracy, and a welcoming donor experience.

Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, monitoring donors, maintaining equipment, and documenting data in the donor system. Minimum high school diploma and phlebotomy certification preferred; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process and center policies.
• Greet donors and explain the donation process to establish trust.
• Perform venipuncture procedures following SOPs.
• Monitor donor well-being and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment and ensure readiness for daily operations.
• Set up and operate plasma donation machines and respond to alarms.
• Collect and label test samples accurately, including NAT testing.
• Keep donor floor stocked with supplies and soft goods.
• Record donor data and incidents in the donor information system.
• Address donor complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support donor flow and alert management to bottlenecks.
• Prepare the center for audits by maintaining cleanliness and SOP compliance.
• Uphold data integrity and confidentiality.
