Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Madison, WI seeks a donor screener/phlebotomist to support plasma center operations. You will greet donors, screen and record vital signs, and handle donor compensation while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reporting to the Plasma Center Manager, you will use the Donor Information System and participate in continuous improvement of center processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fine motor coordination and ability to hear equipment.
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role helpful.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger-stick results.
• Use Donor Information System; prepare donor charts and maintain records; coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes per procedures.
• Work varied shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
