Job summary

CSL is seeking a medical donor services professional in Texas to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and provide routine medical care to donors and staff. You will interview donors, review medical histories, and determine eligibility to donate plasma in collaboration with the Center Medical Director.

You will review test results, assess donor symptoms, counsel donors on reactive test results, and escalate critical cases to physicians as required, following SOPs to ensure donor

Qualifications

• Licensed/credentialed medical professional with relevant training.
• Experience in evaluating donor suitability and performing history reviews.
• Ability to perform physical assessment and interpret basic tests.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff per licensure.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine eligibility.
• Collaborate with Center Medical Director to address donor questions.
• Review test results and assess continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer as needed.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate critical cases to physicians.
