Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-donation medical screening per guidelines.
• Determines Hematocrit (HCT) and Protein via finger stick and hematastat.
• Promotes customer satisfaction through interaction and responsiveness to customer needs.
• Assesses donor suitability and handles plasmapheresis setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Provides feedback to ineligible donors.
• Ensures donor information is complete and confidential.
• Communicates donor medical information to Medical Staff.
• Maintains donor files and accurate records.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and keeps supplies.
• Disposes of contaminated equipment.
• Builds rapport with donors for long-term donations.
• Performs general administrative duties (greet donors, answer phones).
• Learns and complies with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and company procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work areas.

Education
