Job summary

Grifols, S.A. is seeking a dedicated donor center professional to conduct pre-donation medical screenings and manage plasmapheresis procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include determining hematocrit and protein levels, maintaining donor records, and ensuring donor safety with strict adherence to FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP guidelines. The role requires excellent communication with donors and Medical Staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-donation medical screening according to guidelines.
• Determines Hematocrit (HCT) and Protein via finger stick and use of hematastat and refractometer.
• Promotes customer satisfaction through responsive donor interactions.
• Assesses donor suitability and manages plasmapheresis setup, monitoring, and disconnection.
• Communicates donor medical information to Medical Staff and maintains donor files.
• Maintains sanitation and organization of the work area and supplies.
• Disposes of contaminated equipment and supports general administrative duties.
• Learns and adheres to FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
