CSL is seeking a Medical Donor Eligibility Specialist in Texas to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis, provide limited emergency care, and conduct medical history reviews. You will work under general supervision with the Center Medical Director to answer questions and ensure donor safety.

The role requires medical training and at least 1 year in a health care setting; plasma center experience is preferred. On-site work with strict SOP adherence and collaboration with medical staff.

Formación

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, PA, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic program.
• If from foreign medical school, must be licensed or certified as EMT.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience.
• Experience in plasma/whole blood center preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and review medical history for suitability.
• Collaborate with Center Medical Director on donor suitability questions.
• Review test results and assess ongoing donor suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer as needed.
• Follow SOPs and escalate critical cases to physicians or local providers.
