CSL is seeking a qualified healthcare professional to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures, provide limited emergency medical care, and interview donors to obtain medical histories. This role supports donor safety and compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced plasma collection center in Dallas.

You will work under supervision with the Center Medical Director, review test results, counsel donors on reactive results, and escalate critical cases to the Center Physician.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program
• Foreign medical school graduates must hold licensure or state certification as EMT
• New York licensure or reciprocal state RN/MD/DO required for applicable locations
• Minimum of one year relevant experience in a health care environment
• Experience in plasma or whole blood collection center or other regulated environment preferred
• Ability to make and analyze a physical assessment of heart, lung sounds, signs of drug use

Aufgaben

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews
• Collaborate with Center Medical Director on donor suitability questions
• Review test results to determine continued donor suitability
• Counsel donors regarding reactive test results and refer when needed
• Provide routine care following SOPs and escalate critical situations
