CSL Vifor is seeking qualified healthcare professionals to join our donor center team. This role focuses on evaluating donor suitability for automated pheresis, providing limited emergency medical care, and conducting thorough medical history reviews to ensure safe plasma donation.

The successful candidate will work under supervision, collaborate with the Center Medical Director, review test results, and counsel donors on reactive findings while following established SOPs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic medical training program.
• If graduation is from a foreign allopathic or osteopathic medical school, must also currently be licensed as a physician or state certification as an emergency medical technician.
• For NY: current state licensure or certification as an RN, MD or DO in the state you are applying for work or in a reciprocal state.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff including administering medication or treatments per licensure.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine donation suitability.
• Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to address donor suitability questions and provide information to staff.
• Review test results to determine continued donor suitability; assess donor symptoms that impact donation.
• Notify and counsel donors regarding reactive test results; refer donors for follow-up care.
• Provide routine care following SOPs; escalate critical medical situations to Center Physician or local medical services as required.
