Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist to guide donors through plasma donation, perform venipuncture, and maintain a clean, efficient center environment. You will work with a team dedicated to quality and donor care.

You will educate donors on process steps, ensure safety, and document procedures while upholding regulatory standards. This role emphasizes compassion and precision in a high‑volume setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California).
• At least 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate in high‑pressure situations.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and donor care.
• Comfortable working in a regulated environment with exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Educate donors on the donation process, center policies, compensation, and the importance of plasma‑based therapies.
• Greet donors and perform introductions to establish trust and comfort.
• Conduct venipuncture procedures following SOPs, including arm prep, collection volumes, restarts, and cell loss protocols.
• Monitor donor well‑being during the donation process and respond to adverse reactions.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure readiness for daily operations.
• Set up and operate plasma donation machines, including responding to alarms and shutdowns.
• Record donor data and any incidents in the electronic donor information system.
• Respond promptly and professionally to donor complaints, deferrals, or concerns.
