Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a center-based clinician to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis and provide limited emergency medical care. You will interview donors, conduct medical histories, and review tests to determine whether donation can continue.

In collaboration with the Center Medical Director, you will answer medical questions, escalate urgent cases, and counsel donors on test results and referrals to follow-up care. A healthcare license is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a paramedic, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, medical school or naturopathic training.
• If graduation is from foreign medical school, must be licensed or certified as EMT.
• Minimum of one year relevant healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis under supervision.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews.
• Coordinate with Center Medical Director on donor questions.
• Review test results and assess continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors regarding reactive test results and referrals.
• Follow SOPs and escalate critical cases to physicians as needed.
