Rice Lake Weighing Systems is seeking a Plasma Operator to start up, run, and shut down plasma cutting systems with precision and safety.

You will read blueprints, set up tooling, measure to tolerance, and adjust speeds and feeds to produce quality parts while following strict maintenance and safety procedures.

This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication, and able to lift parts up to 50 lbs. The workplace emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Mansioni

• Perform machine start-up, warm-up and shut down operations.
• Select, measure, assemble, and set machine using precision gauges.
• Mount, install, align, and secure tools and work pieces.
• Modify technology tables, and manage program storage.
• Create nests/programs for plasma machines.
• Identify maintenance points and inspect cutting conditions.
• Determine tool setup specifications from blueprints and instructions.
• Position and secure work pieces on machine bed and fixtures.
