Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Plasma Operator to set up and operate the plasma cutting table. The role includes grinding, deburring, cleaning parts, and removal of scrap, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The successful candidate will read operator instructions, measure with a tape measure or caliper, and perform basic math. Training provided; alignment with quality procedures is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience.
• Ability to read and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Ability to perform basic math in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, clean parts, cut and remove scrap.
• Operate plasma cutting table safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Complete quality control paperwork and perform quality checks.
• Other duties as assigned.
