Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is hiring a Plasma Operator to set up and operate a plasma cutting table in Fort Worth, TX. The role includes grinding, deburring, cleaning parts, cutting scrap, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

You will perform routine machinery upkeep and complete quality control documentation. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or 1 month related experience), ability to read operator instructions, read a tape measure and caliper, and

• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the plasma cutting table.
• Grind, deburr, clean parts, cut and remove scrap.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Complete quality control paperwork and perform quality checks.

Job Summary

The Plasma Operator will set up and operate the plasma cutting table.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties including grinding, deburring, cleaning parts, cutting and removal of scrap
• Operate plasma table in safe manner
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Perform routine maintenance on the machinery
• Complete quality control paperwork
• Perform quality checks
• Other duties assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent or at least one month of related experience
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting
• Standing for long periods of time
