Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Plasma Operator to set up and run the plasma cutting table. The role requires reading tape measures and calipers, following operator instructions, and performing a variety of finishing tasks to ensure quality parts.

Responsibilities include grinding, deburring, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, organized work area, plus routine maintenance and documentation. Applicants should be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or <1 month related experience.
• Ability to review and understand operator instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and caliper; perform basic math.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs.; intermittent bending, lifting, reaching; standing long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the plasma cutting table.
• Grind, deburr, clean parts and remove scrap.
• Operate plasma table safely and maintain clean work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and complete quality checks.
• Record quality control paperwork and perform checks.
• Other duties as assigned.
