Castle Steel Inc. in El Mirage, AZ is seeking a Plasma Machine Operator to run the Machitech plasma cutting table and beam line. This role offers a 5:00 AM–1:30 PM schedule with pay in the range of $22–$30 per hour and potential overtime to earn up to $67,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a machining, manufacturing, or construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation – Run Machitech Plasma Cutting Table & Machitech Beam Line
• Material Handling – Oversee the staging loading of steel for processing using overhead cranes & forklifts
• Setup & Operation – Select & replace consumables, set cutting parameters, adjust feed rates
• Quality Control – Check finished pieces with appropriate tools to match plans
• Maintenance – Coordinates the maintenance, daily cleaning, calibration & upgrades to equipment
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
• Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of job, department or crew
• Other duties as assigned
