Job Description

We are hiring for our client in Tampa. You would be operating a High-Definition Plasma Cutting Table. Your responsibilities would also include some other prefab work, shearing, sawing, grinding, and drilling. This job involves lifting cut parts from a plasma table and placing them on pallets. Full sheets of material are hoisted onto the table, then removed by hand as smaller parts. You will produce machined parts by programming and operating a CNC machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring equipment and supplies are maintained.

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a shop operations/manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years plasma table experience
• 2 years of Angle Shear Cut Machine experience
• 1 year welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints & tape measure
• HS diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License

Skills needed to perform essential functions:

• Background in manufacturing and/or construction management
• Experience with safety, productivity, and process development
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and documents
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions following manufacturer's instructions

Pay ranges from $20 to $24 an hour depending on experience. Candidates need to bring their own PPE gear: Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses, and Long pants or jeans.
