Qualifications

• Must pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspections & measurement, attention to detail.
• Proven experience operating plasma-cutting or similar metal-cutting machinery.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to enroll in a registered apprenticeship during onboarding.
• Physically able to lift and move materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plasma cutting equipment to cut metal materials to precise dimensions and shapes.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to determine cutting requirements and adjust settings.
• Monitor cutting processes to ensure accuracy and quality of cuts.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot plasma-cutting equipment.
