As a Plasma Burner at Ryerson, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining plasma-cutting equipment to cut metal materials according to specified dimensions and shapes. Your primary duties will include interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine settings, monitoring cutting processes, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
Salary: This position is a Union position. Per Union contract this position pays $30.68. New employees hired shall receive eighty percent (80%) of the full rate for the first six months of employment, ninety percent (90%) of the rate for the next six months, and 100% of the rate after twelve months.
2nd shift Plasma Operator. Hours 2:30pm-11pm M-F
