This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week. We will confirm your availability, shift days and times early in the interview process and inform you in advance of any schedule changes. Our patients depend on the plasma we collect, so your reliability during scheduled hours is greatly valued.

About the role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How you will contribute

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors, ensuring the safety of donors and the team.
• Screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work variety of shifts, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays.

Qualifications required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, occasional up to 32 lbs, rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, ability to hear equipment from distance.
• 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
• 1 or more years minimum experience in customer or patient facing role helpful.

Location and Compensation

USA - IN - Kokomo

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00 per hour.
