Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the United States (GA) is seeking a Lead Technician/Center Supervisor by exception to monitor plasma center operations and ensure cGMP compliance. You will train staff, oversee quality systems, and support center management to maintain donor safety and product quality.

The role emphasizes collaboration with QA, conducts audits, and leads in implementing continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining records and SOP adherence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Essential: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Desired: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews operational records to ensure completeness and compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Tracks deviations and reports to center management and QMR.
• Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for donor suitability, plasma collection, storage, release, QA, and training.
• Ensures SOPs are current and staff perform tasks per SOPs.
• Assist center management to prepare for internal auditors and inspectors; help close observations.
• Maintain qualifications and perform duties for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas; train staff.
• Provide leadership and training support to center management and supervisory team.
