Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable findings. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician in a fast-paced plasma donation center.

This part-time role requires a current EMT-Paramedic license, CPR/AED, a nursing program credential, and at least two years of clinical experience; pay ranges hourly and benefits are

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-Paramedic in the hiring state.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Satisfy state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• FDA-approved BioLife training completed.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings.
• Support employee vaccination programs as applicable.
• Manage donor safety and transport logistics when needed.
