Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certification as Phlebotomist, Donor Processor, Plasma Processor and Designated Trainer is required.
• Typically 4 years of related experience with phlebotomy, donor processing, and plasma processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the ability to perform all tasks within the plasma center and supervise donor flow.
• Learn and maintain familiarity with FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and internal procedures.
• Supervise donor selection, plasma collection and all manufacturing records to meet production standards.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings; ensure accurate documentation of records.
• Assist in training new employees and retraining current staff; communicate with other service areas.
• Build rapport with donors to support long-term donation; report unsafe conditions as needed.
