Qualifications

• Must have an active state license as RN, NP, or PA.
• CPR and AED certifications required.
• FDA-approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training completed.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing program graduate credentials.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, and medical history review.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer complex medical or technical issues to Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
• Support vaccination programs for staff as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized and support related investigations.
