Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the USA (NY - Latham) seeks a Medical Support Specialist (RN) to ensure donor safety and compliance in plasma donation operations.

Responsibilities include donor eligibility assessment, reaction management, review of SPE and lab results, and coordination with the Center Physician for medical issues. Requires RN license, CPR/AED, and clinical experience. Competitive benefits and sign-on bonus apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and state nursing licensure.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of donor eligibility and safety in plasma collection.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and informed consent.
• Manage donor adverse events and reactions per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate outcomes to donors.
• Provide center level support for EHS and medical guidance as applicable.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and occupational health needs.
