Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR and AED certification required.
• Basic IV therapy eligibility required.
• FDA training completion for BioLife Medical Support Specialist required.
• At least 2 years of clinical or hospital experience and knowledge of donor screening and laboratory results.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, informed consent, history interview, and review of SPE.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Consult Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical issues.
• Support vaccination programs for employees (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu).
• Manage employee incidents with EHS guidance and investigation support.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations.
